Add a pressure point to your modular with the intellijel FSR 1U, a custom fabricated force-sensing-resistor (FSR) with an analog processing circuit. It allows you to generate a variable CV when you press on it (pressing harder generates a larger voltage) along with a corresponding gate signal. The module includes a power ribbon cable.
FSR Overview
- FSR: The surface of the force-sensing resistor is both touch and pressure sensitive. Touching it sends a +5V signal to Gate: Touching it sends a +5V signal for as long as your finger sits on the pad
- CV: Pressing sends a voltage to the CV Out, whose value corresponds with the amount of pressure you apply. At maximum pressure, +5V volts is sent to the CV Out jack
- The pad is very sensitive and offers a great deal of nuanced real-time control
