Its high-capacity 18650 battery recharges inside the light in 3.5 hours through a USB-C port. The TK11R is controlled by two push-button switches: a Tactical switch at the tail that turns the light on and off, on a momentary or constant-on base, and a Function switch at the tail for cycling through the settings (Low, Medium, High).
