AKG CM-311A Reviews
I knew it's 90s model, but didn't expect it to be
I knew it's 90s model, but didn't expect it to actually be that old. The one I got actually looked like it was made in 90s. Windscreen's plastic was broken. Obnoxiously huge plastic box was from that time, too, with a signs of wear. Coincidentally, brand on the box was "CROWN", not AKG, which I was under impression I am buying. Anyway, the mic is for the live performance. On stage. That means with a lot of crowd noise and huge speakers volume. It's not for a room recording. And especially not for a quiet studio. You've been warned.
It came in looking like it was used
Though the product has very good sound quality, the screw that is supposed to hold the microphone assembly is stripped. While attempting to use it for the first time at a live performance yesterday, the microphone kept swinging away from my mouth and caused a tremendous problem. I will be returning it!!
