The TR3 Hardwood Tripod from Oberwerk presents an elegant, American-made option for mounting a camera or optic weighing up to 40 pounds. With a maximum height of 57" and a peak leg spread angle of 25°, the maple tripod meets most instrument-support needs.
Laser-engraved leg scales allow for precise setup. Oberwerk's patented Slip-Stop legs prevent slippage caused by wood shrinking in response to changing humidity levels, which could otherwise cause a tripod to topple and damage gear. The mounting post is a standard 3/8" stud. The non-wooden components of the tripod are made of aluminum, and the hardware is stainless steel.
