In addition, it features a preinstalled LM-DIG module providing 16 channels of digital I/O on AES/EBU formats. It is also equipped with a Lynx LT-HD2 Pro Tools HD and HDX interface card that emulates the interface characteristics of the Avid HD I/O converter, allowing seamless operation with Avid systems including HDX and HD Native.
The Aurora(n) LYN-AN08D16-HD2 is a mastering-grade 8-in / 8-out AD/DA converter, which supports up to 24-bit / 192 kHz conversion. - The included LM-DIG module provides 16 channels in and 16 channels out of 24-bit AES/EBU, with bit-perfect transmission at sample rates of up to 192 kHz.
- AES/EBU is a world standard for digital interfacing, and the addition of the LM-DIG to the Aurora(n) means that studios and engineers can quickly and easily integrate its superior audio quality and precise conversion/routing tools with almost any professional-quality recording system, control surface, or other tools that use the AES/EBU standard.
