The 8RU Carrying Case with Integrated Hood from FSI protects your monitor on location or while traveling. Made from durable Cordura and ballistic nylon, it features integrated 8RU rack rails that provide near universal support for 8RU and smaller rack-mountable flat panel monitors. The foam-padded interior is supported by a honeycomb frame and the case incorporates a zippered back for ventilation, a four-sided hood, and an adjustable back leg that tilts to optimize your viewing angle. Features include a top handle, a detachable shoulder strap, and two interior pockets. A back rain cape and a C-stand adapter are available separately.

Rack Mounting
- Please make sure your monitor has rack ears to mount the display to the case’s rack rails and that you choose the correct size case for your monitor.
- 1RU is 1.75" so the CH6RU can typically accommodate monitors up to 10.5" tall while the CH8RU can typically accommodate monitors up to 14" tall.
- Usually this means 16" and smaller displays will use the CH6RU while displays larger than 16" and up to approximately 19" will fit best in the CH8RU, but please double check your display’s rack mount height to verify you are selecting the correct case.
