The only review that exists for the 1TB model dated 03/2024 shows this using a Silicon Motion SM2269XT controller and Micron TLC Nand. The two that I've purchased comes with a Chinese made Maxio MAP1602A-F3C controller. Also the Nand module does not have a Micron designation and I believe it's QLC. The speeds appear to be good, 3274 MB/s Write and 3,476 MB/s Read on this drive in a Gen 3 slot. I'm disappointed that the components have changed so I question the endurance rating now. If you need a cheap drive then this will probably be okay but I would have trust issues with mission critical data.
I was able to replace my Steamdeck SSD in around an hour. Love the fast load time and the new space! The two-day shipping was great as well. Happy with my purchase. They do also include an opening pick as well.
