I have 5 of these cameras monitoring all sides of my house and workshop. AI works great.

Useless

I purchased this camera to replace an older network camera on my home security system. It was easy to configure and as an added bonus, as long as you use it with a Synology NAS running Synology Surveillance software you don't need to purchase a camera license. So much for the good. Immediately the camera would stream video for 15-20 seconds and then the image would freeze for 30-45 seconds. Vehicles passing the camera would freeze into a bunch of static images smeared across the screen. I spent 3 days emailing back and forth with Synology's apparently off-shore tech support (their emails all appeared around 3AM). They kept asking for log files from the camera, log files from the NAS, and video clips. All of their emails started off with several paragraphs saying how dedicated they were to making me happy. After the third time they asked for video clips and log files it was clear that they were working from a script. I removed the Synology camera, installed a network camera from Axis which took 10 minutes to configure and worked flawlessly and emailed their tech support to close the support ticket. I don't have the time to put up with products that don't work.
