For whatever reason, the collimation issue mine had upon arrival, was easily resolved. Had plenty of 25x70's over my 40 yrs... these are my first 100mm binos & to say there's a difference between 70 & 100mm is an understatement. These are big & heavy, weight wise it honestly feels heavier than the listed spec of 10 lbs... you will NEED a heavy duty video tripod for use, recommended is a 75mm heavy duty video head at least for use. Construction- well built... nothing against Celestron skymasters, but the Oberwerk 25x100's are a considerable step above in quality. Image Quality- excellent ( provided night sky is ideal )... I exclusively use binos for stargazing and to an extent Astrophotography (with cellphone), when I dont feel like lugging out my 12 Dobsonian telescope. Well worth the money spent, only thing outside of these, would be the higher end 100mm binos (that require dual telescope EPs- which can get costly fast).. Unfortunately, the only company I've found making parallelogram mounts for these is Oberwerk & imho, way too expensive at almost $780. Sadly, after Orion closed shop the beast to beat was the monster parallelogram a considerably cheaper & good quality option. I'll have to make my own, as a P-mount would be ideal for comfort using these behemoths.
