This unit works with a separately available transmitter to extend your audio up to 330' away from the source. It receives an audio signal via Ethernet on a local LAN, and it outputs digital audio via the RCA S/PDIF port. It also features a 4-pin terminal port for analog speaker output.
The receiver supports two-channel audio and its amplified 50W per channel for crisp sound. When paired with a transmitter, it also passes through IR signals with a separately available IR cable and RS-232 using the serial port. The receiver is powered using the included power supply.
