It features a full-flat ground, plain edge blade made of CPM MagnaCut stainless steel, known for corrosion resistance as well as edge retention and toughness. The rest of its metal parts are machined from corrosion-resistant materials. Spyderco's Compression Lock keeps the blade safely locked in the open position during use. The open-backed handle is clad with bright yellow fiberglass-reinforced nylon scales and Spyderco's bi-directional texturing provides a secure and comfortable grip even in wet conditions.
