The ST-158005 VDV II Pro Cable Verifier from SimplyTEST is a cable tester that checks the integrity of copper cables commonly found in domestic, commercial, and industrial voice, data, or video installations, including telephone wiring and data network/video/security cabling.
The VDV II Pro comes with a dual-port remote unit, a coax remote unit, an alkaline battery, two RJ45 to alligator clip cables, two screened RJ45 to RJ45 cables, two RJ12 to RJ12 cables, an F-type plug cable, an F-81 barrel splice, a BNC female to F-type male adapter, a BNC female to F-type female adapter, an RCA female to F-type adapter, an RCA female to F-type female adapter, a wallet wiring card, and a zippered carry case. It also includes the AnyWARE cloud App for iOS and Android.
The VDV II Pro offers several additional capabilities over the related VDV II Plus. These include TDR, PoE detection with voltage information, media service detection, nominal network rate and duplex information, and more.
