One For All URC7945 Smart Streamer Remote

Not great, not bad - meh

My harmony died recently - high bar not quite an even comparison I know - but also my setup is a lot simpler. I have 3 devices, TV, Receiver and Apple TV. Works ok but a couple of issues. #1 - have 4th gen Apple TV. When the remote was configured for apple tv, it would not work. Tried codes of the internet etc, nothing worked. Figured out that if I code the remote as Roku or Microsoft, and then go to the apple tv and have it learn the remote, then I could get it all to work. Kind of stinks with the false advertising of compatible with apple tv #2. When things work correctly all is good. When something goes wrong, you'll have to pick up your old remote. For example, when you point the remote correctly, and you power off, the TV and receiver will power off. Great! If you don't point it correctly or if there's too much sunlight, sometimes they don't power off and then you need to pickup the old remotes. I never had this problem with the harmony, it just worked. #3. There's no way to custom code specific buttons. I'd love to code a power on and off for the receiver because that's what I keep need to reach the old remote to do. Also, being able to code the an input button for the receiver would be great. All and all, the all 4 one is meh - it could be better. Would I buy again - not sure - would look around to see if there's something that would let me drop the old remotes permanently.
