The 380 ACP Red Laser Boresight from Osprey Global features brass construction and a precision-calibrated laser dot that's projected down the barrel and gets within 1.5" of the center. The laser wavelength is 635-655nm and the laser beam is <5 mW. The dot size is 1.5" at 100 yards and the sighting range is 15-100 yards.
You can't sight a Browning Action pistol (with a tilting barrel) with a laser bullet unless you can fully close the action so the barrel is lined up straight. I can close the action on a Ruger Security 380 just fine with this shell inserted, but my S&W Bodyguard 2.0 that needed correction will not close fully. Laser is well-aligned in cartridge and works well, just doesn't close into my BG2.0
