Kopul DAN-2X2UAC Overview

The Kopul DAN-2X2UAC 2-Channel USB I/O Adapter for Dante Network enables you to incorporate Mac/Windows computers and laptops, and USB devices like tablets and smartphones into your Dante network. With plug-and-play operation, the DAN-2X2UAC is automatically discovered by the network and ready to use once connected, making it easy to playback and record highly detailed and clock-accurate audio from your music library or to your DAW over Dante.

The DAN-2X2UAC connects to the network via its RJ45 Ethernet port and connects to your USB device using one of the two included USB cables. It delivers 2-in / 2-out of bidirectional, high-quality 24-bit / 48 kHz audio with high SNR and low THD.

The DAN-2X2UAC can be powered either via PoE or USB. It supports Dante Audio over IP and AES67 RTP transport formats, and is compatible with Dante Domain Manager (DDM).

DAN-2X2UAC 2-Channel USB I/O Adapter for Dante I’ve had my unit for about two months now and have used it on several important occasions where I needed flawless performance with no surprises—and it has delivered every time. It’s truly plug-and-play. When I first got started, I had trouble connecting to Dante, but that turned out to be user error on my end. Since then, once I became more familiar with the workflow, connections have been instant and reliable. I would definitely recommend this to anyone looking to work within the Dante ecosystem. My typical use case involves running my laptop with plugins alongside consoles like the Yamaha DM7, Allen & Heath SQ-5, and Yamaha DM3, and it integrates seamlessly. This USB I/O adapter is a really handy tool for anyone working in a Dante based environment.
