This thing is over 2' long, massive. Like all the Aputure reflectors/intensifiers, this give a very uneven beam, with the center being much, much brighter than the bulk of the beam. So you either consider the useable beam just the center ~25%, in which case a large amount of light is wasted, or you use the whole beam and accept that it's not anywhere near even. I think it's worth having for this particular light to give it longer throw, but it doesn't come with a case, and the box it comes in is really big.
