Expesnive, but useful niche product
Product is very well made with high quality parts. Comes with an Allen wrench to adjust the degree of effort needed for stand movement, however it is impossible to tighten the stand enough such that a heavy lens can be supported without rotating forward (eg, 50mm SL Summilux f/1.4 ).It was amazingly easy to come up with a reliable workaround using an elastic cord. Excellent product support and instructions online. So much better for me than using a tripod for photographing art objects in a studio, and much more maneuverable than a camera stand. I have found nothing to compete with the StandPLUS PRO, and would purchase again if it breaks or wears out, which I doubt it will.
Over Priced Piece of Junk
I had high hopes for the Edelkrone StandPLUS PRO, but this product is extremely disappointing. For the price, I expected a high-quality, stable build. Unfortunately, it's anything but. The materials feel cheap and flimsy, and the stand lacks the stability you'd need for serious camera work. I simply cannot understand how Edelkrone justifies this price point. To make matters worse, I missed the return window, so I'm stuck with a product I wouldn't recommend to anyone. Save your money and look elsewhere.
