Collaborate wherever your work takes you with the Jellyfish Nomad 16TB NAS Array from OWC / Other World Computing, a fast, small, and user friendly mobile NAS. Designed for DITs, independent 3D and VFX studios, and on-the-go editing teams, the Jellyfish Nomad delivers sustained read and write speeds of up to 6000 MB/s, making it suitable for raw files, multicamera projects, image sequences, and VR. When you require high possible performance and portability, swappable drives, and user-serviceable parts, the Jellyfish Nomad is a great collaboration solution in the studio and on the road.

Built with a desktop form factor, the Jellyfish Nomad features a storage capacity of 16TB that is configured as 2 x 8TB NVMe shuttle drives, 128GB of DDR4 ECC RAM, six 10GbE ports, a 1GbE RJ45 IPMI port, two USB-A 3.2 Gen 1 ports (admin purposes only), and a VGA port. Preconfigured as a RAID-Z1, 12TB of storage is available after RAID, performance buffers, and overhead are applied.

Connectivity: Plug-and-Play with No IT Required
The Jellyfish Nomad can be used with a switch but no IT is required to get you up and running. Jellyfish Connect automatically connects and configures your workstations, and two user-swappable NVMe shuttles give you maximum throughput with low latency, saturating the six 10GbE ports that are included with every Nomad.
Storage: No Compromises
This Nomad comes with 16TB of all flash based NVME storage. 16TB is the raw capacity, with 12TB available after RAID, performance buffers, and overhead are applied.
