This D-Tap Power Cable for Sony FX9 & FX6 from SHAPE features D-Tap to 2.1mm barrel connectivity and is designed to ensure that the voltage from a D-Tap source is regulated to the necessary 19.5V required for powering FX9 / FX6 cameras. The cable features a built-in reverse polarity protection system within the casing, preventing electrical issues in case of a backward D-Tap connector insertion. In such instances, the system stores negative energy within the casing, safeguarding the camera from potential damage.
The cable is equipped with aluminum casing for better heat dissipation and built-in power indicator lights – a green light confirming the correct power level for the camera and a red light signaling insufficient power. The 15" long cable is compatible with V-mount or Gold mount batteries having a D-Tap connector.
