So I'm an owner, not a videographer/technology expert but I'm not terrible either. I was able to put this together with my Sony FX30 using seperate mounting for each, and made it work in about an hour or so. It's straightforward and acts as a second display - it does not have its own operating system like an Ipad - so I literally used the Displays function on my Mac Studio and positioned it directly above (didn't know that was an option) my main monitor. It took a minute for my Mac to recognize the Prompter as a display but it did - now I can take a word doc (script) and just pull it up into the prompter - and control it with my mouse instead of some goofer controller or relying on it to interpret my voice - I can also easily scroll up and down the document without looking distracted. I got the smaller one - its' about 28" from my head so my office lenses make it little difficult to read - I use my regular progressives. I thought about the Larger one but I think my eyes would shift back and forth too much with the wider screen. Hope this helps everyone.
Software can't see prompter

I was excited to use this until I tried it. I plugged it in. I could see my screen on the prompter. I thought, "How exciting this was. It works."
Then I installed the software so that I could use the prompter. Actually had a camera plugged into my computer. The software recognized the camera but the prompter... it didn't recognize it. The camera wasn't an Elgato camera but it recognized it. The prompter is an Elgato prompter, but it didn't recognize its own product.
I unplugged, updated and installed drivers. Restarted the computer, unplugged the prompter again, put it back on, re-installed more drivers. Nope. Never got it to work. Will be returning this useless piece of cheap plastic. Total complete fail. Don't buy this. Avoid at all cost. What a waste of time and money.

Yes, I have the same lens with a ZVE10, and have to scale up the video inside OBS, or, zoom "1.3x" in the camera.
Also, the mirror creates a shadow, but I fix this by turning up the lights a bit.
Personally, I like it a lot.
I would recommend having a second camera. Because mounting and unmounting it's getting annoying

Hey Joe! You can use a longer USB-C to USB-C cable, but make sure it’s a USB 3.0 (or higher) data cable instead of just a charging cable. USB 3.0 cables typically work well up to about 3 meters (10 feet). -JE

Yes, Prompter connects via a single USB-C cable and functions as an external monitor. It uses its own display driver, so you won't run into the usual external display limitations on Mac or PC.
