MAATgo Universal Monitor Control and Visualization from MAAT provides complete preamp or monitor controller-style channel routing. In addition, an included software goniometer replicates that analog oscilloscope experience, so you can see what your audio sounds like. MAATgo improves your listening experience, providing a deeper level of appreciation, and is a precision tool suitable for those who are just listening to their favorite music or are mixing or mastering. MAATgo can be used as a plug-in within your favorite DAW that supports VST2, VST3, AAX, or AU, and it includes a standalone version for use outside of your DAW.
Features
MAATgo combines a variety of channel steering and blending controls with a balance adjustment and goniometer. Some of the stereo image and routing controls include a sum or L+R mode, a difference or L-R mode, a swap mode that interchanges the position of left and right, and polarity inversion for left, right, or both.
Specialized Monitoring Modes
- Solo is available, pre-vectorscope, with a single button push. Traditional left/right soloing (as phantom center) can be chosen, or the equally useful MONO/DIFF or M/S (Mid/Side) rendering of the soloed signal.
- Mono mode lets you listen for any cancellation in the phantom center, and is also important for checking how the center relates to the edge with content panned for separation.
Visualize Your Sound
The goniometer or phase scope quickly conveys global trends and troubles, letting you gauge frequency response and phase shift, with an additional visual out-of-phase warning built in. Plus, an optional autogain feature insures that you'll see an understandable display with a wide range of input amplitudes.
