Used for Birds

This works really well with my Sennheiser MKE 600 shotgun microphone. Easy to delete recording i dont want. The 32 bit float is needed for birding since so many different sounds and signal strengths vary in the field. With a sd card i can move files easily to other devices. I have shown other birders how i use this and they intended to also purchase one of these.

Great basic recorder for the price

I'm a wedding videographer. While I mainly use the F3 for recordings from a sound board/speaker, this thing for $80 was a no-brainer to keep in my shoulder bag if a situation arises. As other reviewers mentioned, the interface is pretty bad, but just have your settings sorted out ahead of time. Great upgrade to the H1/H1ns.
