If the battery dies during a recording is the whole recording lost?
Asked by: Fred
According to the manufacturer, if the battery in the Zoom H6essential 6-Track 32-Bit Float Portable Audio Recorder dies and the SD card is left in the recorder, when powered back up, the recorder will try to recover all of the data that was recorded up until it lost power. However, it is not guaranteed that all data will be fully recovered. But if the SD card is removed before powering the recorder back up, all data recorded up until the power dropped will be lost.
