I'm confused. The projector is called a UHD 4K projector But the specs say the resolution is 1080x1920 i.e. HD. So which is it?

The LG ProBeam BU60RG 6000-Lumen XPR UHD 4K Laser DLP Smart Projector (B&H # LGBU60RG) does have a native resolution of 1920 x 1080. However, it uses a newer technology called Pixel-Shift. This allows the projector to achieve an on-screen resolution of UHD 4K 3840 x 2160.

What is the steepest angle this projector can be relative to the screen. IOW, if on side, how far out does it have to be?

The LG ProBeam BU60RG 6000-Lumen XPR UHD 4K Laser DLP Smart Projector (B&H # LGBU60RG) would have a lens shift: vertical ± 50% and horizontal ± 20%. The throw ratio would be 1.3 to 2.08:1. For example, at 10' feet from a screen, you would be able to project an 86" image.

Would this project work well as a 4K computer monitor?
Asked by: Bruce
The LG ProBeam BU60RG 6000-Lumen XPR UHD 4K Laser DLP Smart Projector (BH # LGBU60RG) could be used in place of a computer monitor if paired with a quality projection screen. But even a basic computer monitor will always be superior and easier on the eyes, especially for reading text.
