Offering powerful, high-fidelity sound for the flagship Pa5X arranger, the PaAS MK2 from Korg delivers greatly enhanced sound amplification for the Pa4X, Pa3X, and the Pa3XLe as well. Via the innovative Smart Connect system, this potent speaker system can connect to its host device without the need for any cables.
The speaker system consists of two mid-frequency drivers, two high-frequency tweeters, and one dual-voice coil subwoofer. The mid driver and tweeter each get 30W of power while the sub sports 60W of amplification (on the Pa5X only). Housed in a durable aluminum cabinet with bass reflex porting, this useful speaker system makes it easier to engage in crucial monitoring of arrangements without a studio setup, or to hear yourself during a live run through in the studio with another musician or on stage in lieu of dedicated stage monitors.
Settings can be different for each of the outputs, line out, or speaker system. This is great for using the PaAS MK2 as an independent monitoring system on stage or at home. You can set the output level, EQ, and MaxxAudio values for the PaAS MK2, while the main outputs and the headphones use a different preset. This is perfect for adjusting the close monitoring level and sound separately from the stage amplification system.
