3D Printed & Poorly Designed - Negative Supply Super 8/8mm Film Scanning Cassette

Sad to say I cannot recommend this poorly designed, 3D Printed item. The guides are so tight they will destroy any splice, tape or cement. I did not even get to feed a reel of film through it, since the film broke at the head end before making it even half way across. I tried several times to feed a new leader through as well, hoping it it might free up the guides but doing this only buckled the leader. The unit eventually broke in an attempt to release it. Since the unit is not really usable without the 'Basic Film Carrier' I will be asking for a refund on both. The Basic Film Carrier also makes it very tricky to get the film into the guides due the design so that is also pretty useless other than is has rubber feet. It does not inspire confidence in the other format options. I have never written a negative review before but at this quite high price I expect better than something I could whip up myself at home with Blender and my Elegoo Saturn. Clearly no attempt has been made to account for expansion in the printing process or the fine tolerances associated with....erm.....a product that had delicate negatives passing through it.
