ALOGIC DV4 Overview

Connect more peripherals to your Windows, Mac, or Chrome system with the DV4 Universal Quad Display Docking Station from ALOGIC. Designed to provide extra ports and simplify your creative workflow, this dock connects to your host system using a USB-C 3.2 Gen 1 port that provides Power Delivery and supports DP Alt mode. USB-A peripherals may be connected to the two USB-A 3.2 Gen 1 ports and two USB-A 2.0 ports, while compatible memory cards may be used in the dedicated SD and microSD slots. You'll also be able to achieve speedy network connectivity using the Gigabit Ethernet port and audio can be input or output using the 3.5mm audio/mic jack.

Thanks to one DisplayPort 1.4, one HDMI 2.0 port, and two HDMI 1.4b ports, you'll be able to connect up to four displays to this dock, which breaks down to two 3840 x 2160 displays and two 1920 x 1080 displays. Please note that only Windows systems support four displays, as Mac systems support a max of three displays, configured as one 3840 x 2160 display and two 1920 x 1080 displays.

Also featured is a USB-C power input, which provides up to 100W of power, depending on the power supply used (sold separately). However, only 85W is available for charging your host system, as 15W is reserved for use by the dock. Included is a USB-C to USB-C cable and a USB-C to USB-A adapter.

Connect up to Four Displays
When linked to a computer using USB-C, the DV4 dock can connect up to four external displays using the three HDMI and one DisplayPort output for the ultimate in workstation display capabilities. This dock will also work with older laptops without USB-C, connecting via USB-A and allowing up to two displays to be used.

Powerhouse Companion for Your Laptop
Connect up to four displays on Windows systems, using the three HDMI ports and one DisplayPort. A USB-C connection to your host system is required in order to use HDMI 1 and the DisplayPort outputs. Systems with a USB-A port will be able to support two displays.

Mac users will be able to connect up to three displays using HDMI 2, HDMI 3, and HDMI 1 or DisplayPort. Using HDMI 1 and DisplayPort will create mirrored displays and a USB-C connection to your Mac is required to use HDMI 1 and DisplayPort.

Up to 85W of Power Delivery via USB-C
Equipped with a USB-C Power Delivery power input, the dock can charge laptops with up to 85W of power when a USB PD power adapter is connected (ALOGIC recommends the DCG1X100 100W Rapid Power Gan power adapter for use with this product - available separately). Please note that while the USB-C PD input supports up to 100W of power, 15W is reserved for use by the dock and the remaining amount, up to 85W, will be made available to charge your computer. The total amount of available power is dependent on the connected power supply.
