This radio uses FRS/GMRS channels and has a range of up to one mile in urban or outdoor settings, six miles in open spaces, and up to 25 miles in mountain-to-valley communications. Just press the push-to-talk button to easily connect to your fellow hunters and campers or use the iVOX/VOX feature for hands-free communication. Keypad and call tones indicate when a transmission is being made. The T275 features NOAA weather channels and alerts, allowing you to keep in touch, no matter the situation. Designed specifically for hunters, each radio features a 2.5mm jack and an included earpiece, and the set comes with a camouflage carrying case.

Each of the included NiMH battery packs provides up to 14 hours of power, or you can use three AAs for up to 35 hours. When the power level drops, a flashing alert lets you know reserves are low, so you can recharge or insert new AA batteries. The pack includes a dual USB charger. A keypad lock prevents personalized settings from being inadvertently changed by requiring a passcode to make alterations; the time-out feature automatically turns the lock on after a period of inactivity.
