The 77mm MRC Circular Polarizer Filter from Simmod is used to select which light rays enter your camera lens. It can remove unwanted reflections from non-metallic surfaces such as water or glass and also saturate colors to provide better contrast. The effect can be seen through the viewfinder and changed by rotating the filter. The filter factor varies according to how the filter is rotated and its orientation to the sun.

Simmod MRC Circular Polarizer Reviews
Excellent filter
I compared three 82 mm CPL filters: this Simmod, B+W MRC Basic (also bought from B&H but as used), and a JJC filter I bought on Amazon using my Nikon 6iii and Nikon Z 14-30mm f/4 lens. I rejected the JJC filter because it gave a slight but noticeable yellow tinge, was difficult to rotate due to being ultra-slim, and tended to stick to the neutral filter to which I attached it. Of the remaining pair, both of which use bronze rings, I am keeping the Simmod because its filter factor, measured as the increase of ISO with fixed exposure and aperture, was between 1.6 and 2, depending on what I was imaging, while that of the B+W varied between 2.8 and 3.2. I also liked the SImmod more because it just looks and feels like a piece of finely machined art, with its golden rim as a nice touch. To be clear, I am not affiliated with any seller of manufacturer, including Simmod, and learned about this company only while researching CPL filters, and I own and completely satisfied with three B+W neutral protective filters.
Polarizer Allows Narrower Apertures & Faster Shutter Speeds.
I use this filter for scenic and sports photos from a distance. It enables richer colors and removes haze.
