Sennheiser Momentum 4 Overview

A dramatic update and upgrade over the previous generation, the graphite MOMENTUM 4 Noise-Canceling Wireless Over-Ear Headphones from Sennheiser trades in the classic design and folding body for a sleeker, more modern look and fold-flat earcups.

More importantly, the battery life has drastically improved by nearly four times to up to 60 hours with both Bluetooth and adaptive noise cancellation on. Audio quality is still on the high end with Sennheiser's Signature Sound powered by large 42mm drivers. Sound can easily be customized to your individual hearing with the Sennheiser Smart Control app. Add in clear calls from four beamforming mics with wind-noise suppression, and you have a pair of headphones that can be used throughout your entire day.

Customizable Sound
In addition to the Smart Control app (iOS and Android) that tailors sound settings to your personal hearing, you get a built-in EQ, EQ presets, and various sound modes to further adjust how your music and other audio entertainment sounds.
ANC and Transparency Mode
With adaptive noise cancellation, the MOMENTUM 4 headphones will automatically adjust the ambient noise it cancels out based on your surroundings. When you do need to hear what's around you, such as traffic or to have a quick conversation, you can engage Transparency Mode to let those outside sounds in without having to take off the headphones.
Quick Charge
If you've forgotten to recharge your MOMENTUM 4 headphones, you can get up to 4 hours of playback with a quick 5-minute charge.
Automatic On/Off
The MOMENTUM 4 headphones immediately turn on when you pick them up, and they will automatically shut off to preserve battery life if they go 15 minutes without use.
Automatic Pause/Resume
Audio playback automatically pauses as soon as you take off the MOMENTUM 4 headphones. Playback is automatically resumed as soon as you put them back on.
Comfortable & Portable
The lightweight design is complemented by a padded headband and thick, cushioned earpads. When you're done listening, the fold-flat earcups allow the MOMENTUM 4 to conveniently store inside the included hard case. The slim size of the case makes it easy to take with you, and the soft fabric covering protects your headphones while inside.
Touch Controls
Touch controls on the right earcup allow you to easily control audio playback, ANC, mobile calls, and access to your device's voice assistant.

My first impression of these headphones was how comfortable they are. I've got a big head and some headphones just don't cut it. These do! They are also very light. Next impression was that they sound very good. Maybe not quite audiophile, but for the price they are great. Bluetooth hookup was a breeze. The App is intuitive and easy to use. (I have not used any of the EQ presets. Mainly because I don't think these phones need it.) They hold the bluetooth signal really well. I've wandered all over the house and as of yet have not lost the signal. The noise cancelling works really well. Recently, I traveled for a job and brought these Sennheisers along. I initially thought I'd only used them to relax in the hotel room, but then discovered that my trusty "work" headphones had been left behind. I ended up using these phones to monitor audio from the camera with the supplied cable. They worked great for that. I don't plan to use them in that capacity again unless I have to. When working in the field, headphones live a rough life. They can get thrown around, sweated on, rained on, dirty, etc. I don't think these headphones are built for that. These Sennheiser Momentum 4 headphones will be my "nice" headphones.

My use case for shine cancelling headphones is I have anxiety issues and it helps to have the sound cancelling controlled, calm audio. And they're almost perfect for that, but the voice that tells you things like low battery is insanely loud for me. I know I'm overly sensitive to loud noises but it's over the Loudness Threshold I have I've tried the app, both of them, and they do not seem to have any manner of disabling or attenuating the voice whatsoever Also the touch controls are too sensitive and trigger accidentally all the time when I do thinks like slightly bend my head to the right but that's merely a mild annoyance Other than that specific issue they're best but my ears are still ringing from being told I have a l low battery which is why I wrote this whole thing
