Dangerous Bowens Mount Issue and Very Poor Support

I am extremely disappointed with the GVM F60 Fresnel and GVM’s support. The Bowens mount is incorrectly dimensioned: the locking lugs do not fit securely into a standard Bowens receiver, so the Fresnel can fall out at any time, which is a serious safety risk. I tested this extensively on two separate units, and both had the exact same issue — failing at something as basic as a standard mount is simply unprofessional. After weeks of confusing and uncoordinated support messages from different people, I was eventually offered a return, but by then I had lost confidence in the company. In the end, I had to buy an adapter and modify the setup myself, spending extra money just to correct a manufacturer’s mistake.

No, the GVM F60 Fresnel Lens for LED Light Spotlight requires a Bowens mount light. The GVM Reign R1200B Bi-Color LED Monolight BH #GVMPROR1200B has a dedicated (non Bowens) mount.
