I bought 2 of these for our TV studio intending to put them on rolling tripods for a flexible camera configuration. They come with very short 6' power cables attached to flimsy AC adapter cables and require extension cords for any type of flexibility.
This was my fault, but I thought it would work on a standard SLR tripod mount. It needs a video mount. In hindsight, I should have bought the Desktop Variant. Note, it is easy to fit an SLR to this rig, but if you want to mount the whole thing on a Tripod, the kit is designed to fit a video tripod, not a still camera tripod. The item was well packaged and included plenty of accessories and a good carry bag.
