I bought this for use with an Apple Studio Display. It is solidly built and provides adequate support for the monitor. However, the arm is not very versatile for vertical mounting of this kind of display. You can't really move the monitor much as the bottom of the display touches my desk even when in the highest position. It's still a good option if you cannot or don't want to drill an arm into your desk or mount it off the side of your workspace. But I was hoping for more flexibility in positioning the display.
I got a Studio Display with VESA mount and needed a stand for it; most stands available didn’t suit the look of the monitor or had questionable quality. I took a chance on this and have been very happy with it. Construction is solid, installation was easy, and it looks great.
