The adapter lets you quickly and securely mount your binoculars or monocular on a tripod or monopod for a stable view during long observation sessions. Made of fiberglass-reinforced nylon, the clamp mount features the RRS 1.5" dovetail standard, making it compatible with most Arca-type ball head quick release plate receivers. There's also a 1/4"-20 socket for tripod mounting. The Cinch-LR 's adjustable nylon strap fits monoculars and open- and closed-bridge binoculars with optical tubes 1.77 to 2.56" in diameter. Edges and corners are rounded for comfortable use during a day in the field.
