The Series-4 3-Section Cinema Tripod from Really Right Stuff is a heavy-duty carbon fiber tripod designed for use in both the field and the studio. Its three-section carbon fiber legs support heavy cinema rigs that weigh up to 200 lb. An aluminum spreader is included that can be installed as a mid-level or ground spreader. It extends from 25.8 to 75.6" with the spreader at mid level, from 27.7 to 79" with the spreader at ground level, and it folds down to 34.3" in length.
Constructed from Really Right Stuff's patented carbon fiber weave, the cinema tripod provides quick locking knobs, a large bubble level, and a 100mm bowl to accommodate standard 100mm ball heads such as the FH-7240 fluid head. It features dual spikes with removable rubber platform feet that are adjustable on uneven surfaces. There are also 1/4"-20 and 3/8"-16 threads and an ARRI-style rosette for adding accessories such as extension arms.
