- New PQ-based LUM Colored False Color Mode for HDR. When the monitor is set to PQ EOTF, the LUM Color False Color mode will automatically switch to a PQ nits-based scale instead of percentage.
- Waveform will now automatically switch between PQ nits and percentage-based scale depending on the configured EOTF. If set to PQ nuts, the waveform will be shown in nit levels. If set to any other EOTF, the waveform will automatically revert to percentages.
- A more pronounced visual indication that Clear Panel Noise (CPN) is running has been added. A green tally light will now flash when it is activated and running and will stop when CPN is complete.
- The luminance custom slider will automatically limit the top custom threshold based on your monitor model.
The XMP310's QD-OLED screen uses per-pixel luminance control for more precise image rendering. Independent dimming of each LED module allows the monitor to properly display the whitest whites and the deepest blacks. Colorists and editors benefit from the wide viewing angle, which enables comfortable monitoring with minimal image distortion or color shift.
The monitor is also compatible with third-party calibration applications for the development and deployment of custom LUTs. Advanced LUT interpolation delivers a higher degree of precision with better on-screen performance than simple LUT processes. Multiple real-time overlays and tools, including markers and exposure checkers, are integrated into the XMP310 to help operators precisely hit their marks. Scopes, Menus, and OSD Status windows have been updated to operate at a consistent luminance level regardless of the set operating mode. This renders scopes and menus at a comfortable brightness level in both SDR and HDR modes. Added Gamut Toggle menu with options for Hue Preservation or Max Saturation to define mapping behavior in a particular color space that may be larger than the display can achieve.
Accurate per pixel-level luminance control means true black levels at all times with no artifacts or motion limitations found on FALD (Full Array Local Dimming) LCDs. The per-pixel emissive design guarantees simultaneous high contrast with all varieties of content.
The XMP310 features the unique ability to simultaneously supply a clean 12G/6G loop-through and real-time quarter-sample down converted 3G or 1.5G output. Any incoming single-link DCI/UHD 4K signals can be converted to 2K or HD outputs for downstream HD monitors or scopes, all without needing any standalone down-conversion equipment.
A Stream Deck can be easily configured for use with the IP Remote Utility to trigger shortcuts. Quickly and easily save up to five custom configurations and switch between them with a single button press.
