Terrible way to attach to pole

The design of the connection to the tripod pile makes it difficult to connect. For my use - taking it on and off in-between events - it would be much better to have something like a super clamp to attach and un-attach. I would say it's good for permanent set up. Also, a way to attach a mouse pad world be helpful for my work habits.

Struggled to find a laptop mount holder that would attach to a pole and this one doesn't seem geared towards photographers but it does the job remarkably well. The construction is very solid with almost all metal and sturdy plastic on the pole clamping part. Assembly instructions are not great but it was easy to figure out. It now lives permanently attached to a C-stand riser that sometimes gets used as a camera stand.
