The On-Camera Package with 15" Prompt Monitor and Integrated 15" Talent Monitor from Autocript features a thin, lightweight design with portable, medium-sized carbon fiber hood that folds down to protect the included beamsplitter mirror during transport. The included prompt and talent monitors combine to form an integrated pair, providing the text as well as a confidence monitor for your on-air talent. Mounted together with a lightweight friction hood, the power and drive electronics for the talent monitor are housed in the prompt monitor, which enables the talent monitor to remain lightweight and extremely thin.
The prompt monitor incorporates a LAN connector, allowing you to connect to a computer and use WinPlus prompting software (not included), or an external scroll box for text control if you wish. The included Intelligent Prompting hood and beamsplitter glass more than fulfill the requirements for a prompter, and the hood is designed to fold for storage and transport, without removing the glass. The system includes a tally sensor and cable as well as a cable tray, so it easily integrates into a multi-camera setup.
Sporting a thin design, the Autoscript EVO-IP15M Prompt Monitor with Power Supply is a 15" monitor that interfaces directly with WinPlus-IP software using its LAN connector. In addition to LAN, the monitor supports HD-SDI and composite inputs, providing you choice in how you get your text into your prompter system. Along with its thin and lightweight design, the monitor incorporates four tally lights, and it has improved cable connection over previous models. It features a high-bright, high-contrast solution for clear and readable text in virtually any brightness condition.
Autoscript's 15" Epic Talent Monitor is designed to attach to an Autoscript EVO-IP15M, thus upgrading both units to an EPIC-IP15 integrated prompt/talent monitor system. The talent monitor sits just below the teleprompter and allows the talent to see themselves within the frame, providing them instant visual feedback. It attaches to the prompt monitor using a friction hinge that enables you to adjust its viewing position or fold it under the prompt monitor.
The external power and drive electronics for the monitor are supplied by the EVO-IP monitor, which is required for this monitor to work. This allows the talent monitor to be extremely lightweight and thin for a monitor with its screen size, and it also makes it easier to work with than a monitor that requires internal power and drive electronics.
