Kopul 4K60 HDMI Pro Splitter Reviews

Clean Signal to 4 Monitors. No Hassles, just works.

This Kopul HDMI splitter is working flawlessly for me with zero issues. I've been using it with my ATEM Mini Extreme ISO, which I’ve got mounted in a portable case setup. Normally the ATEM switcher gives you two HDMI outputs, but in this rig, one of those is tied up feeding the built-in monitor for multi-view mode... leaving me with just one free HDMI output. This splitter made it easy to take that one HDMI out and send it cleanly to up to 4 external monitors without any signal loss or headaches. You can see in the photos how I’ve got it wired with my ATEM switcher. It's super straightforward. The HDMI splitter handles up to 4K60 without a problem and hasn’t introduced any issues, even with longer cable runs. Beyond this specific ATEM setup, this splitter would be useful in any scenario where you need to send a clean HDMI signal to multiple destinations—monitors, TVs, projectors, you name it. The EDID management and automatic HDCP scaling are nice touches too, especially if you’re feeding different displays or monitors with mixed specs. The switcher gives you the choice to set it to Auto, Downscale or Copy mode. In Auto, the splitter reads the EDID data from the connected monitors and distributes the lowest resolution to the other monitors. For example, if one is 4k and the other is 1080p, the splitter will output 1080p to all the monitors to ensure the same quality to all. In Downscale mode, the splitter distributes a signal to each monitor at its highest supported resolution. For example, if one monitor supports 4k, it will receive 4k and if the other monitor only supports 1080p, it will send that monitor 1080p. In Copy mode, whatever video resolution and audio format it sends to HDMI 1, is duplicated across HDMI 2-4. This splitter is compact, easy to use, and is reliable enough to keep in your go-to kit. And best of all, everything just works. Which is exactly what I want in a live or fast-moving production environment. [I have received this product in exchange for my honest review.]

It does more than just splitting video signals!

The Kopul HDMI-PSP-1X24K Pro 4K60 HDMI Splitter does everything I want for my needs. This device will greatly vary from the needs of a video gamer, home theater setups, and many more applications. Mine is for video production, home use and Home Theater. This device solves many problems for me. Sometimes I have to split the HDMI signal to 2 monitors. What I LOVE about this device is that it can simply output 4K 60Hz to one display, while conveniently outputting HD 1920 X1080 to another display that cannot handle / decode 4K or UHD. That ALONE to me is a winner. EDID Management for Optimal Display Settings: In the unit, push that button to select between equally distributed 4K to 4K, or 4K to HD, OR, HD to HD regardless if the original signal is 4K. if your second monitor does not accept 4K. For more info on that, the Manual is available near the BH product listing “Specifications”. It is also HDCP compliant. It means, you can connect it to an Apple TV, Blu-Ray player, computer video games and many other streaming devices, including Netflix Amazon Prime without any restrictions. The audio is up to 8 channels in Surround Sound. Just so you know, if you need more, BH also sells the same Kopul HDMI splitter that supports up to 4 displays. I have uploaded pictures AND a VIDEO so you can watch this device in action ( Only viewable at BH website on a computer). I LOVE this HDMI splitter! Very happy.
