This works with the Avata 2 and much practice is needed before you fly as a beginner. You have FPV games via Steam to practice and use this controller before flying your drone out in the real world. Fits well on the hands and is built well.

Does flying in manual mode decrease the Avata 2's flight time?

For the DJI Avata 2, all flight assistance controls, precise hovering, auto brake features are all disabled when in manual mode and will allow your drone to function at top speed. A flight without assistance and speed limitations, may result in a shorter battery life based on the user control.
