MuxLab HDMI 2.1 48Gbps Splitter Reviews

Great for splitting a Stream Box output to a second room

The Stream Box (Zidoo Player) resides in the equipment rack supporting a home theater. The Muxlab allows me to run a second HDMI out, via a 50ft 8K optical cable to the input of another AV processor in a second room. Works great! I also had to run an IR remote wire along side the optical cable so that remote operation from the second room was possible. During installation, I did have to reset the unit one time by power cycling it; most likely caused by me disconnecting/reconnecting cables without powering down the unit first.

Does this output to both outputs simultaneously ...

Does this output to both outputs simultaneously as duplicate feeds?

Yes, when using the MuxLab HDMI 2.1 48 Gb/s 1 x 2 Splitter both of the HDMI outputs would be live and show a duplicate image on both HDMI outputs.
