I replaced the Audeze Maxwell stock pads with these. All I can say is that they are exceptional. They stay cooler than the stock pads and are very comfortable. They break in nicely and get even better after multiple listening sessions. I bought the Maxwells for 100% music listening. Although they have gaming features, the sound quality is as good as that of my HiFiMan Edition XS. Of course, the closed-back design is more intimate, but it still has a great soundstage. The Dekoni Sheepskin pads may seem to be a tad pricey, but you should invest if you want to keep stock tuning (perhaps a tiny bit warmer). I think they will easily outlast other solutions.
Ran cooler than the original ear pads, It’s a shame these are not the stock ones for the headset!
