The PMG QD plug is, by far, the best quick release plug that I've used. I use mine daily. Not only is the PMG QD plug beautifully made and secure, but it is thoughtfully designed and easy to use. The button diameter of the PMG plug is much larger than the one on Magpul, Kirk, or RRS plugs, which makes the PMG plug much easier to attach and detach than the others. The button on the PMG plug is also perfectly positioned, not too recessed and not too proud. When it is attached to the QD port of a lens foot, the PMG plug is durable and reliable, just like the Magpul plugs that I have used in the past; I've been using mine for a year without any problems whatsoever. The PMG QD plug comes with two, interchangeable stainless steel connectors, one for a strap and one for a carabiner. Tip: use the carabiner connector if possible because its tapered shape makes it easier to operate the button. than with the rectangular strap connector. The PMG plug kit also includes a Peak Design QR Safety Tether -- a nice gift from the company. If you are using a lens foot with double QD ports (such as the Hejnar NFR-008 for the Nikkor Z 600 f/6.3 VR S PF), I suggest using two PMG QD plugs and the OP/TECH USA Utility Strap-Sling X-Long  Quick Adjust which features two sliding connectors and UniLoops that will securely connect to the carabiner clips of two PMG QD plugs; this combination creates a handy, secure carrying solution that can be rapidly attached and detached. If using a lens foot with only one QD port, the included Peak Design QR Safety Tether will provide extra security, but the Peak Design QR is not as easy to use as a PMG QD plug.
