Doesn't Fit Lens Cap

The v2 adapter ring fits perfectly as expected. However, the biggest issue is that if you're putting it on any traditional lens, it won't allow you to put the lens cap on the other end like you are able to with the v1. I understand that this v2 design is meant to limit any potential vignetting, but not being able to put the lens cap on the front makes it unusable for me. I will be purchasing several of the v1 rings instead. My use case is a Sony GM 24-70, Canon RF 24-70 2.8, Canon RF 15-35 2.8.
