Cosmic Compression in a Compact Pedal
Squeeze your tone like the pros with Hypergravity Compressor from TC Electronic, a versatile compressor pedal that sports three diverse modes of operation. With multiband, vintage-style, and customizable compression modes, as well as wet/dry mix control via the Blend knob, you have the tools to crush any tone to your liking.
Spectra mode offers the studio-style compression of the MD3 algorithm, taken directly from TC Electronic's popular System 6000 multi-FX processor. Vintage provides a traditional stompbox compressor, while TonePrint offers full customization via the TonePrint Editor. Further controls include Sustain (compression intensity), Attack, and Level (output gain). You can select between true bypass for maintaining your pure tone, or buffered bypass for propping up signal integrity for long cable runs and complex pedalboards. With a compact yet durable die-cast metal case, this pedal will last years of touring.
Studio-Quality MD3 Compression
Hypergravity Compressor's highly advanced multiband dynamics algorithm is the same MD3 compression algorithm that can be found in TC Electronic's System 6000 studio compressor, which has been a preferred dynamics tool for top producers for over 10 years. Its engine applies perfectly tailored compression for your highs, mids, and lows, and leaves you with an ultra-transparent and more musical compression than what can be achieved with standard single-band compressors. This lets you go from subtle airy shimmers, to full-on straightjacket tone holds and anywhere in between, without ever compromising your original tone.
Vintage Mode
While Hypergravity Compressor provides you with modern studio-style multiband compression, you can also select Vintage mode for traditional stompbox compression. Perfect for percussive country tones, tight funk sounds, or sweet Gilmour sustain, the warm Vintage mode lets you squeeze and squash your tone as much as you want, along with some added presence.
TonePrint
With TC Electronic's proprietary TonePrint technology, you can finally realize the full potential of your inner compression geek. The free TonePrint Editor (macOS and PC) and its wealth of parameters lets you tailor that fully focused compression tone completely to your liking. Via the free TonePrint App (Android and iOS), you can beam custom-tweaked compression tones made by some of music's finest to the pedal. You also get full control over all effects parameters, so you can create your own signature TC sound.
Beam It
Download the free TonePrint app for Android and iPhone, choose the TonePrint you want to hear, and beam it instantly from your phone through your guitar's pickup into your TonePrint pedal. No cables needed.
True to Tone
With optimized headroom, True Bypass or Buffered Bypass switch, and Kill-Dry on/off, this pedal guarantees optimal tonal integrity and zero loss of tone. Whether your pedal is on or off, the dry sound is always passed through the pedal unharmed in all its pure analog glory thanks to analog dry through.
