Create layers of infinite sustain with the Infinite Sample Sustainer from TC Electronic, an audio processor that samples and sustains your guitar playing to create an ambient pad over which you can play. Using Infinite mode, you can sustain an indefinite number of layers and gradually morph them together.

The Infinite Sample Sustainer sports a useful FX loop, allowing you to send your sustained signal out to external FX for truly wild combinations. With the footswitch, you can not only switch the effect on or off, but also utilize latching or momentary modes for greater creative freedom (selected via front-panel switch). The TonePrint app lets you customize an expanded array of parameters for even more precise sound creation, and create your own custom TonePrints. The pedal includes a switch-activated reverb FX engine for a little extra sheen.

Lay it Down, Over and Over

If you're into stacking layers of notes and chords, Infinite is right down your alley. Stack single notes to build epic chords and harmonies, or stack chords to create ambient mayhems, from monumentally mesmerizing or wonderfully weird, to screeching and squealing.

From Here to Infinity

Infinite Sample Sustainer offers endless amounts of sustained layers right at the tips of your toes with Infinity mode. You can add and sustain a virtually endless number of layers.

Reclined Reverb Revelation

When using the sustain pedal on an acoustic piano, you get a natural sense of reverberation as part of the sustained sound. And similarly, an integral element of ambient guitar soundscapes with generous lashings of reverb and/or modulation effects. You’ll find a comprehensive reverb engine and modulation block under the hood of Infinite to ignite and boost your creativity with sound design.

Latching or Momentary

Latching footswitch mode works in a classic punch-in / punch-out way, whereas Momentary works like a sustain pedal on a piano; keep holding it down as long as you want the sound to be frozen in time. Simply choose whichever mode you find most logical or intuitive.

Built-In FX Loop

Infinite comes with an extra set of jack sockets that you can use for expanding your experimental soundscapes endlessly. Whatever external effects you bring into the FX loop will be added to the sustain signal chain only, allowing you to play along on top with your main guitar sound.

Try adding distortion, flanger, ring modulation, and/or pitch shifting into your sustained layers and discover alternative ways to blow guitar minds in the crowd. For instance, a Sub 'N' Up Octaver will transform your sustainer into an ambient organ, complete with draw bars.

Infinitely Intuitive

When you enter the creative space, you need intuitive tools at your disposal. Infinite is extremely easy to use and helps getting your creative juices flowing rather than obstructing them.

You need to predefine the switches and the FX Type knob, but the three remaining knobs can easily be adjusted on the fly. Decay controls the length of your sustained sound(s), Fade In adjusts the pace of new layers, and finally Level simply sets the overall output level of your sustain signal.

Triple TonePrint Treasuries

You also get three TonePrint slots to which you can beam delicious artist TonePrints and store them within Infinite to be recalled at any time. You can also connect to the TonePrint App and edit your heart out, creating your own custom TonePrints to use in TP1, TP2, and TP3.

Analog Dry Through

TC Electronic recognizes that you won't always be using a sustain pedal and will likely be in bypass mode quite a bit. But don't worry, they made sure that your original guitar signal is preserved thanks to the analog-dry-thru design. It will pass completely unaltered to the next pedal or your amp, regardless of whether Infinite is engaged or bypassed.
