With the Fat switch, you can toggle from the standard germanium circuit to a mode that utilizes Schottky diodes for a modern sound with increased bass, ideal for chugging riffs. The Treble control allows you to dial in and shape high frequencies without causing the low frequencies to thin out, unlike traditional tone controls. And with a voltage stepper that increases the internal voltage beyond the 9V input, you get increased headroom with massive output levels on tap.

The Zeus Drive draws its inspiration from the legendary Klon Centaur, a famous overdrive pedal from the 1990s that has long been renowned for its ability to generate harmonically rich saturation that behaves virtually identically to the drive circuits of a standalone guitar amplifier. Produced in very small numbers and discontinued in 2008, it has remained one of the most expensive and highly sought-after guitar pedals on the used market. Now you can have the same performance and signature sound of this mythical pedal in a more affordable, yet still all-analog, package.
Dual-Concentric Gain
Zeus Drive's dual-concentric gain control progressively blends overdrive into your clean signal whilst simultaneously increasing clipping for a crystal clear amplike touch and response.
Germanium-Powered Analog Circuitry
The drive section of Zeus Drive's all-analog circuit comes fully armed with a pair of 1N34A germanium diodes that deliver smooth, soft clipping and sweet, pleasing highs. You also get two DIP switches that allow you to choose between true bypass for pure tone free from tone suck, or buffered bypass, which helps maintain signal integrity during very long cable runs or complex pedalboard arrangements.
Tough and Compact
Zeus Drive is housed in a compact built-like-a-tank metal box. Ever conscious that your pedal collection may be growing while your pedalboard may not, TC Electronic has mounted the 1/4" jacks and power input on the top of the housing to save you valuable pedalboard real estate, allowing you to stack more pedals in a row.
