The extended low-end, high SPL, and fast transient response make it ideal for capturing kick drums and bass in both live sound and recording applications alike. The C112 features a 50 Hz to 14 kHz frequency response—wide enough to handle other instruments, such as brass, woodwind, piano, guitar, and percussion. The mic features a tight supercardioid polar pattern that helps reduce bleed from other instruments and feedback from sound reinforcement gear. The C112 includes a threaded mic mount, which makes precise positioning quick and easy.
