HPE Networking AP27 Overview

Featuring an IP67-rated enclosure, the HPE Networking Instant On AP27 Dual-Band Wi-Fi 6 Outdoor Access Point can withstand -45 to 145°F temperatures in addition to protecting from rain, wind, and dust. At the same time, this access point is designed to deliver wide-reaching and reliable Wi-Fi 6 (802.11ax) coverage with up to 75 simultaneous users over the 5 GHz and 2.4 GHz bands.

You can provide power and data to the Instant On AP27 through a single cable by connecting its Gigabit Ethernet uplink port to a PoE+ compatible network device. You can install the access point onto a wall or ceiling using its integrated mount. Configure the access point via the HPE Networking Instant On mobile app to set up guest networks, block users, and take advantage of other features.

The Instant On AP27 Outdoor Access Point AP27 is water- and dust-resilient built to IP67 standards that make it suitable for outdoor use. The hardened outer shell is capable of withstanding harsh temperatures of all seasons, operating between -40 to 149°F.

Guests and employees experience quick and easy onboarding with the free captive portal from the Instant On app or a web portal. Keep customers engaged and staying longer with easy and intuitive guest access and be sure employees are more productive with any time wireless access.
Wi-Fi 6 Features
Orthogonal Frequency-Division Multiple Access
Orthogonal Frequency-Division Multiple Access (OFDMA) allows multiple Wi-Fi 6 capable clients to be handled simultaneously per channel. This improves efficiency by boosting overall capacity, reducing latency, and improving end-user experience.
Target Wake Time
Target Wake Time (TWT) is ideal for IoT devices that communicate infrequently. TWT establishes a schedule for when clients need to communicate with an AP. This reduces power consumption and can extend the battery life of clients.
Multiple Input, Multiple Output
Multiple Input, Multiple Output (MIMO) allows the access point to serve multiple compatible clients simultaneously.
