I take a lot of outdoor sports photos, and have tried a variety of weather protection over the years. I currently have umbrellas that attach to my monopod, rain bags for the camera itself, and a wearable personal rain pod that I use depending on the situation. I had an opportunity to use the GoShelter for the first time last week at a soccer match, and it's now my favorite weather protection device by far. It leaves my hands free and doesn't get in the way of operating the camera. And it's more wrap-around protective (especially in wind) than just an umbrella. My only suggestion would be to make it a bit larger, especially in the front. It doesn't extend quite as far as I would like and my lens sticks out in the rain a little. (But I was using a very long telephoto -- 180-600mm -- so that probably wouldn't be an issue on a shorter lens.) It's also pretty difficult to wrap it back up for storage, but with practice that would probably get easier. It's just not real intuitive the first time around. Overall, though, I highly recommend. Great protection, light weight, easy to put on, and doesn't get in the way. Very happy with it so far.
